“The chubby, inert pet dog has become a familiar household sight in richer countries. And yet there lies a possible boon to the out-of-shape among us. A recent study suggests that being told one’s pet is dangerously overweight might provide the impetus that gets an owner moving.”
We were part of a fundraiser for a worthy cause last weekend. Shelter Our Pets is a fantastic organization in Montvale, NJ that protects animals of abuse victims. They recently held their annual Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair Fundraiser, and Sierra Jack was honored to have been invited.
"If you can sit quietly after difficult news; if in financial downturns you remain perfectly calm; if you can see your neighbors travel to fantastic places without a twinge of jealousy; if you can happily eat whatever is put on your plate; if you can fall asleep after a day of running around without a drink or a pill; if you can always find contentment just where you are: you are probably a dog."

Despite your best efforts, your dog or cat has slipped out an open door and disappeared. If he's wearing a collar and identification tag, chances are good that youll get him back.
But what if the collar comes off? Thousands of pet have been returned through the help of microchips.
